Polymeric (Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)) Particles Entrapping Perfluorocarbons Are Stable for a Minimum of Six Years
We investigated the long-term stability of perfluorocarbon-loaded PLGA particles and found that they remain robust for a minimum of six years under suitable storage conditions. This is an important step towards making these imaging-compatible formulations more practical for research use and future clinical translation.
